New Platform - MyCyberTwin Professional

Hi everyone!

This morning (US time) MyCyberTwin has officially released a brand new platform designed for small-medium sized businesses, online organizations, social/media sites - MyCyberTwin Professional.

This new account comes with an easy-to-build 4 step DIY process for development, allowing website administrators to add an intelligent virtul agent to a company’s web properties in a short amount of time.

MyCyberTwin virtual agents are self-learning and can be designed to answer specific questions or variations of questions. They can also be trained to recognize different ways a person may ask a question. If a virtual agent is presented a question it doesn’t understand, it is designed to search the businesses website for the answer or encourage the user to enter another question.

These are not junk FAQ engines with a face, but quality conversational AI’s. This new offering is a simplified version of our enterprise platform, which handles millions of sales and support chats for Fortune 100 Companies, but with an easy-to-build process and extremely low cost.

The market price for this technology has traditionally ranged from 25cents-$1.00 per chat, plus tens of thousands in service costs. MyCyberTwin is changing the entire model by offering a free pilot and then a starting price ranging from $25/month through a few hundred dollars per month pending the type of website and traffic flow.

SMBs and developers are able to design their virtual agent ‘avatars’  to meet their unique specifications around look and brand feel.  They are free to build and implement (for 30 days), and have a tiered pricing model based on the number of chat engagements once launched.

The best part is companies can now easily build and manage it themselves.  We believe this is truly bringing 21st century engagement to the masses.

We hope you enjoy this new platform, and look forward to seeing the wonderful creations you come up with!

For more information, please visit the MyCyberTwin Professional information site, or contact me here on chatbots.org.

Cheers

Shaun Harkness

Cool smile Since you’re a company, I assume you’re not allowed to go into more detail how it recognizes different ways of detecting the user’s question, or how it looks for answers on other websites? wink

Hi Mark, sorry for the late reply.

Our system renders automated chat through a suite of unique and proprietary AI techniques utilising natural language processing, knowledge representation, fuzzy logic, case-based reasoning and intelligent information retrieval.

When searching for answers on a website, MyCyberTwin professional leverages these AI to retrieve information by conceptually matching the query to information patterns within web pages in a context sensitive way.

Cheers

Shaun

All patented no doubt.

Lol, wow, that’s a lot of text without telling me anything at all raspberry But it’s ok, I wasn’t expecting it, since, as Andrew said, it’s patented and a company secret.

A demo would be nice yeah

Shaun, I am curious
¿what is the difference among your approach and a standard Q&A system based on closed search (like a FAQ) or a customer’s database? There are lots of IR systems out there, using dozens of good algorithms to retrieve a response when a question matches the subject (or at least the majority of the elements of the query)
Is this your approach?

I really would like to test it, while being able to see all the information lying behind (the data upon the response is based on) this is because I am somehow allergic on hearing marvelous reports (in a highly marketing way) of things (in this case bots) that do not have any measurable assertion on the field, who’s measure-ability is none, and do not have any back-up of a serious paper, proved patent or scientific publication giving out the real measures of this in any controlled laboratory or data-ambient!

- thanks - !

You can view some examples of companies using MyCyberTwin technology on the Case Studies page on our website.

Otherwise you’re welcome to sign up for an account - it’s free for 30 days and there are no contracts or obligations, so please free to try it out! Just visit the MyCyberTwin Professional registration page.

Hi Andres

Of course the background operations of our platform are patented so I can’t go into too much detail on that, but for more information you can visit our Technology page for an introduction to our platform.

If they are patented then all the details should be available somewhere. That’s the whole point of patenting things ... you don’t have to, indeed cannot, keep them secret any more.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patent
http://www.ipaustralia.gov.au/

“A patent is a form of intellectual property. It consists of a set of exclusive rights granted by a sovereign state to an inventor or their assignee for a limited period of time in exchange for the public disclosure of an invention.”

Patents are kept secret for the first couple of years I believe.

Not true (at least in the US).

Even preliminary patent applications are published, here are the latest “chat bot” preliminary applications.

Once you file, you can put the “patent pending” label on your product. Anyone who has a patent registered should be able to give you a patent number so you can look it up. At minimum, if they don’t know the number, you should be able to search the patent database by company and find all their filings.

Thanks for the link, Merlin. Very informative.

As a side-note, while looking through the list, I found one of the patents that Rich has for AIML.

http://www.google.com/patents?id=CaVpAQAAEBAJ&pg=PA4&dq=chat+bot&hl=en&ei=CDygTqmXJOrPiAL9mo1X&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=21&ved=0CHAQ6AEwFA#v=onepage&q=chat bot&f=false

(it’s sort of ‘off topic’, I know, but I thought it may be of interest to folks here)

Rich also has an old list of some of the chatbot patents on the AI foundation site.
