Standards organization?

Its been a while since the first thoughts on AI ever existed…. people have been developing chat bots and AI beings for a long time now. Dont you think its time to to standardize it? Look at W3C, standards for everything. And since there is such a community behind it dont you think its time to start a AIS or whatever you should call it.

Just an idea. I have really no idea how or what to do. Im just thinking out loud.

lol

And what would you standardize?

It also kind of assumes there is some conjunction between developers when mostly it’s people doing whatever they like.

Don’t miss my recent videos on “Open Chatbot Standards for a Modular Chatbot Framework”.

More recently I’ve come across the Open Mashup Alliance, “a non-profit consortium that promotes the adoption of mashup solutions in the enterprise”.

Joseph, as you could see when I asked the question last year, there has not been much interest from the community in reaching a standard on a AI language or data set.
Is it time to create an AI standard language

Erel even suggested and started implementation on a “Bot Wiki”, but I haven’t seen much progress on it recently.
