You can create an Eccky, a virtual baby, with one of your Live Messenger buddies. Once you have made an Eccky of your own, he or she will be added as a buddy to your MSN list automatically. You can also chat with your Eccky in a game. Eccky babbles as a baby but just give it a few years and Eccky’ll be talking your ears off! Actually, in six days it will be an adult of 18. For deep discussion or just gossip, your Eccky is always up for a chat!
Your Eccky will be different than all other millions of Ecckys because its parent differ. As parents personality, behavior and looks differ, their childs will differ too. Just like the normal world.

The purpose of Elbot is to converse with users about any topic under the sun, rather than a specialized and self-contained set of FAQs as is usually the demand for commercial systems. He became the first natural language dialogue system on the German Internet. Elbot has a few robotic themes, but also takes on the challenging task of being conversant on just about everything. Eliza parodies a Rogerian therapist, largely by rephrasing many of the patient’s statements as questions and posing them to the patient. Thus, for example, the response to “My head hurts” might be “Why do you say your head hurts?” The response to “My mother hates me” might be “Who else in your family hates you?” ELIZA was named after Eliza Doolittle, a working-class character in George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, who is taught to speak with an upper class accent.
