Multilingual, learning general purpose chatbot.

While currently in heavy beta and development, this technology demo shows some of “industry firsts”: The bot is multilingual, being able to converse in several languages in one box (try. “What languages do you speak?”). The bot is learning during the conversation. Try “Ich bin 39 jahre alt.” and then ... later ... “Wie alt bin ich?” This works also with other things - of course “My car is a VOLVO” ... “What is my car” etc. just try.

THe bot can handle procedural words. I-e- words that you will not find in any dictionary. Try e.g. “Wieviel ist siebzehn mal achtundzwanzig” (the numerals get parsed) or “Wat is negen plus negen”. The bot is a little bit self aware “How old are you”. and has rudimentary grasp of time. “What time is it/was it yesterday/will be tomorrow”

This agent helps the user to navigate on the website, if a user is asking about contact information, Mr. E will go to the webpage with this information. Navigation By Conversation. He also gives the user interesting information about the employees of Ecreation and their customers.

Cindy is a CML (Conversation Markup Language) Interpreter. It implements all user cases listed in the CML specification. When you download Cindy or sign up for the Novabot hosting service, a set of sample CML sources will be provided to show you what CML can do, as well as being a practical CML FAQ chat bot. Abraham Lincoln is a free demonstration of what Virsona chatbots can do.  You can chat to him in the conventional way you’d talk with any chatbot, select a topic, such as the Gettysburg Address, or you can teach him replies to questions he’s unable to answer.

Abi Carvar is a Second Life based Avatar chatbot. She acts as a greeter for Daden at their Second Life Office on Daden Prime. Virtual world offices and shops are not manned 24/7 therefore ensuring visitors can interact with you is important. Many in-world developments have a simple “greeter” script, which just says a sentence as they arrive. Others will have “contact me” devices which let you page the owner. Some even have basic “tour guides”. Simple chatbots can be a static or animated image on a virtual screen and can be wholly managed in-world.
