This version adds new knowledge sources, including one with Wikipedia-like knowledge and another that enhances Ramona’s whimsicality, along with an improved interface, forming Ramona’s updated unique personality.

Ramona is capable of synthesized speech and changeable accents. Her personality can also be adjusted to make her less or more nerdy or whimsical by typing “Nerdiness” or “Whimsicality” plus a level between 0 and 99 (e.g., “Nerdiness 87″).

Users can hear her speak in 14 international accents, ranging from Baltimore to Bangalore. Users can also converse with previous versions of Ramona.

Adam a chatbot / virtual human

It has a spell engine to try to spot typos, a math engine for simple math questions. It has a basic short term memory which allows it to answer questions to facts it has just been told as well as a basic time and date system. There are a few additional capabilities put in for the Loebner competition.

Teo is friendly and exciting and his conversations are complex and varied. Teo speaks fluent English and he eagerly learns new languages.

You can chat simply by visiting Teo's website. If you download Teo to your desktop, he will be able to interact in new ways. He can click and type on your desktop according to your instructions. If he doesn't yet know how to do what you want, he can be easily taught new activities to perform for you. Teo's desktop skills are still an early prototype, but he has been already successfully taught to execute simple tasks like launching an application or opening folders and documents.

On a more technical level, Teo is a new kind of artificial intelligence. His algorithms are built around latest models of human mind and his implementation is surprisingly efficient and fast. Teo is designed to perceive, think, and behave like a real human. There's a long way to go though. All your help is appreciated.
