      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Multilingual, learning general purpose chatbot.</p>

<p>While currently in heavy beta and development, this technology demo shows some of &#8220;industry firsts&#8221;: The bot is multilingual, being able to converse in several languages in one box (try. &#8220;What languages do you speak?&#8221;). The bot is learning during the conversation. Try &#8220;Ich bin 39 jahre alt.&#8221; and then ... later ... &#8220;Wie alt bin ich?&#8221; This works also with other things - of course &#8220;My car is a VOLVO&#8221; ... &#8220;What is my car&#8221; etc. just try.</p>

<p>THe bot can handle procedural words. I-e- words that you will not find in any dictionary. Try e.g. &#8220;Wieviel ist siebzehn mal achtundzwanzig&#8221; (the numerals get parsed) or &#8220;Wat is negen plus negen&#8221;. The bot is a little bit self aware &#8220;How old are you&#8221;. and has rudimentary grasp of time. &#8220;What time is it/was it yesterday/will be tomorrow&#8221;</p>

Since 2007, more than four million policyholders created personal accounts on the site to manage their information.&nbsp; With a wide range of content and applications, Ameli.fr users were having difficulty finding the right information for their specific needs. The telephone support channels were flooded with people asking for information that was already on the website. Ameli.fr implemented the VirtuOz virtual agent to provide better service and improve user navigation for policyholders.

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Joebot robot is a content-packed, walking, talking interactive buddy with a sense of humor and rhythm. Featuring voice command control, the Joebot robot is capable of responding to key phrases via sound sensors; he can also be controlled by his responsive hands or by the Robosapien&#8482; robot&#8217;s remote controller. </p>

<p>The Joebot robot is not your average Joe &#8211; in fact, he can beatbox and dance &#8211; just tap out a beat and he will repeat it perfectly while grooving along. His movements are fast and fluid, and he is able to avoid obstacles via infrared sensors or detect if he falls over with tilt sensors. Various modes include Wandering, Patrol, Talk, Guard and Battle Modes. In Battle Mode, for example, he will wander freely while tracking and blasting objects with his hand LEDs; you can even challenge him to a &#8220;duel&#8221; using any TV (IR) remote controller.</p>
