Some people may know me as ‘Freddy’ on the forums, it’s a user-name I got stuck with, just so I had continuity across various sites - I never knew I would get so involved in things or I would have probably used my real name.

Hmmm…what to say. Going back a bit I was a university drop out whilst studying Computer Science. Reason ? Boring course ! I’ve learnt more by teaching myself. Other than that I have had a long love affair with computers and programming.

My main venture with regard to AI and chat-bots is the website AI Dreams (originally called Digital Girl). We started this with no real sense of direction, but the whole thing has evolved into a nice community for AI/Virtual Worlds and Sci-Fi fans. It’s like a drop in centre where you can get your fix of what is new and talk to like minded people.

Chatbot fan and promoter.

For a while now I have also been maintaining The Chatterbot Collection, which is a pretty large resource for bot-masters and anyone else interested in these things; including the famous list of chat-bots but also other material like films, articles and tools. This was taken over from Remi Poulin and I am still pleased to bits I was chosen to take it forward.

I spend a lot of my free time promoting and developing our sites and I am currently studying on a new course in web design - although as usual I find a lot of it I can work out myself. Still they like pieces of paper don’t they !?
