After speaking to an ALICE clone back in 1998, Steve became fascinated by chatbots and quickly had a talking teddy bear on his website. After being asked to write Mitsuku for an internet games site, Steve became hooked on chatbots. He has worked with several companies developing chatbots and most recently won the silver medal for 2nd place in the internationally recognised Chatterbox Challenge beating several past winners and Loebner entrants. He offers several AIML files to be downloaded for free from his website. |
