She can inform users about the weather, traffic jams or train departure times. Alice cannot only inform the user about different kind of facts, but she can also act as an actual person, in a way that she connects with users by talking to them, just like a normal person would. There are in September 2009 more than 780,000 users who have added the Dutch Alice as a Windows Live Messenger buddy.
