Sentinel - Cloud based Personal Assistant

So my initial project that have been altered, changed and segmented into different phases have finally reached the final stage of being available for private beta.

Its a cloud based personal assistant currently only available for windows devices (desktop, tablet & phone).

What makes this smarter than other Assistants? Well for one, while Siri and the likes can perform one request at a time. Sentinel will be able to perform several requests at the same time. That means you can ask it to find nearby restaurants while also sending a text message to friend.

Enabling true natural conversation.

Another is history. It will be able to reminder what the topic of conversation is and what you last talked about.

Another is condition based reminders. For example asking it to remind you to call someone if the Heat loses tonight.

and much more

Does anyone here have windows phone 8? It would certainly be of great benefit if you can beta-test the application with extreme scrutiny.

Without further ado tonight i will show you all the Reverification you all be waiting for! lol

Would there be any problems running the App on the WinPhone8 Emulator?

Vince, the forum software here mangles URL’s that contain parens, so I “got creative” and generated a TinyURL address to point your link to the correct location. Sadly there is no solution to this problem, as apparently parens within URL’s constitute a “potential security issue”. Many Wikipedia addresses have exactly the same issue.

Nope there will not be.
My problem though is i can’t use speech on my emulator. I guess my mic is bad or something. with alot of static. And as we all know wp8 speech recognition isn’t good. but according to their latest demonstration it will get better.

Can’t wait till they actually update it.

Genesis, I would be interested in seeing a demo video of you putting your bot through its paces. To get an idea of its functionality in “ideal” conditions.

I do not have the Win8 Emulator at this time. To be honest I was sort of using this as an excuse to download and play with it. I’ve been mainly programming for Android using Eclipse and the Android emulator. Since your work is not in the public domain, there is a fairly onerous process that I would have to go through before I could personally test it involving my putting you in touch with our corporate counsel for intellectual property, you exchanging NDAs so that he can evaluate your project and make sure that what your doing is not similar to anything that we are doing, then once approved we repeat the process with myself signing an NDA etc…(This protects us from an future claims that our work may be based in part on someone elses work) However if this monumental yet necessary pain in the a** is problematic, Im sure that there are any number of other people here that can participate using the emulator.
