8PLA • NET gained popularity from being one of the first usernames registered on this forum.  During a process of simply updating to a new email address, the choice of username 8PLA • NET was blocked by the system in a programmatic manner. 

A new username (based on a domain name Elizabot.com) was forced to be given preference.  For the time being, a new robot themed avatar from the cover of the album “Bionic” from artist “Christina Aguilera” has been chosen to replace the original 8PLA • NET avatar.
