Easter eggs

Hi!
I’m looking for ideas… Can you suggest the most successful of previously implemented EASTER EGGS for chatbots?

Thank you in advance!

Most of the visitors my bots receive are also interested in music. Ask any of them “What is your favorite song?” or “What kind of music do you like?” or type “Sing for me.” Each should provide a different answer, sometimes there’s a random reply with a different song. I like using videos, when I can, but sometimes it’s just a .wav file and the lyrics printed on the page. People usually express approval, in particular when it’s a romantic song. If the bot asks if you’re familiar with the song title, and you are, say “No” and you’ll hear it.

One of my favorite bots is the traditional version of Yurichan. http://www.travisjmorgan.com/bot/trad.html
If you click on the flower pot to the left near the window, you’ll see flowers grow.

Basic ALICE has a couple. Try saying to any AIML bot, “Time flies like an arrow.” It’s sometimes attributed to Groucho Marx because it sounds like something he’d have said, but there’s record of it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_flies_like_an_arrow

You can also try saying to Nickie, (http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk?botid=e855a44dfe347fce ) “Please give me a lap dance.”

Ask Zog, ( http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk?botid=c1baddb74e35ebd0 )“Do you have a family?”

And it goes on and on. But, the whole idea of Easter Eggs is that finding them is a surprise, so I usually don’t disclose them. However I’ll give you one more. Ask any of my bots, “Who is Mitsuku?”

Obviously, I meant to say, “there’s NO record of it.”

I still don’t understand why you can’t delete your own posts or edit them after 15 minutes.

Except that there is, but it’s just not listed in Wikipedia. Groucho Marx did, indeed, say that exact phrase during an episode of the comedy game show You Bet Your Life, and if memory serves, he also repeated it during an episode of the Lucile Ball Show, though I can’t find the reference, and could well be wrong. Once I find the specific episode of You Bet Your Life, I’ll post a link here. smile

That Groucho may have at one time or another repeated it wouldn’t surprise me. Comedians are well known for “borrowing” the work of another comedian—especially if it’s actually funny.

Lots of people (and ALICE) credit Albert Einstein with the phrase, “Time is money,” when in fact, it was Benjamin Franklin.

If Einstein had said it, money would be relative and warping space.
