After I use chat script for a while, sometimes I get an error message:

mkdir: USERS: File exists

It’s not a bug I know how to reproduce but I have seen it several times now.

I will be adding another bug reporting line for trying to create USERS… you might check to see if you have an entry in LOG/BUGS relating to this.  Next version will provide more tracking on this issue to see if we can find it. Likely it cannot create a logfile for a user it guesses that the USERS directory is missing, creates that and retries creating logfile. But users folder exists. Probably still cant create log file due to something in the user name

There is no entry in LOG/BUGS.

I always use username andrew. 

It usually happens if chatscript has been running a while with multiple builds and verifies.  It’s not a big deal for testing.  I just stop and start chatscript and it goes away.  I do hope it doesn’t show up in a production environment, through the socket api.

the message is not from CS, so it wouldn’t be sent to clients. Its an OS message
