Respond and move on?

I have a problem wherein my bot responds correctly with one programmed response, but then ALSO triggers more of a catch all responder.

I can’t come up with a more elegant way than I currently have in place to trigger things, so wondering if there’s a way in which the first (more specific) responder can also tell chatscript not to allow the last input to trigger any further responders?

There is insufficient data about why you are getting a second responder. The first would NORMALLY end it, unless you have a your own control script that reacts to multiple sentence input and the input was multiple sentence.  Is this the case?  What was your input?

It may be you should run the program, get the bug, then do
:trace all
:retry
and email me the user log.
