ChatScript is now entering its 7th year in open source with release 7.0.
The last version of CS earlier in December was downloaded over 1400 times.
New features for this release include a text debugger (suitable for building an IDE around), conditional compilation, and establishing support for foreign languages that can use the treetagger pos-tagger (if you get a commercial license). A number of previous internal size limits have been relaxed as CS moves away from its initial pure chat focus into full industrial use focus.
