UX working hand in hand with chatbots

How to ally both together (UX with a chatbot interface). We think that building a UX around a chatbot is better than just adding a chatbot as an “add-in” into an interface. Thoughts? https://botfirstdesign.com/ensuring-an-optimum-user-experience-alongside-a-chatbot-interface-cbb753547dca

I agree. Introduced in 2009, Skynet-AI may be the grandfather of “Bot First Design”. The user interface and AI capabilities evolved simultaneously and have allowed it to run on everything from a cell phone to a web TV.

Since last few years the growth of messenger application has increased so rapidly that’s why the trends are moving graphical UI to conversational UI.

Unlike a UX (user experience), a UI (user interface) is interchangeable, I think.

What do you think?

Working collaboratively allows the multi-disciplinary team to play to their strengths. I’ve heard the statement that any application can be made into a bot. However, the amount of work required to do so is tremendous. I think there is a path where the bot development and the design can be worked on in parallel.

UX does the dialogue and personality, while the development hooks up the business logic and scripting.

Is that naive?

I wouldn’t say “naive”, per se, but it may be a bit simplistic. I don’t think the two should be as isolated/autonomous as you make it sound, and healthy “chatter” between the two elements of the team makes for both a smoother workflow and faster evolution toward the intended goal.

I think that it is worth asking the opinion of the professionals https://artelogic.net/
