Ariel is a prototype of a virtual Spanish spoken Lecture Assistant.

He is able to interact around the clock with his students in natural language, Spanish, through his website www.asistentedeclase.com.ar

At this time, he has some knowledge of Information and Communication Technologies: ERP, CRM, BI, SCM, BPM among others.

Ariel can share with the students the main concepts of each subject, make reviews and even give them a false-true test to check their readiness in a given topic.

Ewa is a virtual assistant at Invest Bank’s website. She provides information about the company, personal accounts and cash credits. Client may ask her questions in natural language and immediately receives a reply from the virtual assistant. Ewa’s another task is to help and support clients in the field of using the website. If needed, she can also clarify client’s questions. Distinguishing feature of this virtual assistant is her ability to use advanced semantic web search (WEB 3.0).

Karolina is a Virtual Assistant of Ceramika Paradyż, a leader in production of ceramic tiles in Poland. Products of Ceramika Paradyż are shown on the biggest trade fairs of the ceramics branch: Kiev, Moscow, Poznan and many more. Karolina can provide descriptions of each individual collection or give you advices related to choice of tiles.  Moreover she gives useful information about installation and conservation of tiles, etc.

The Virtual Assistant is equipped with a module which allows users to ask about places where one can buy collection of concrete tiles. The information is given in 2 ways: you can create your own questions or select topic from the list. Karolina is the first virtual assistant in this market segment in Poland.

This time InteliWISE challenged with a task: how to improve the website of the oldest Harley Davidson dealer in the USA. We provided an attractive, smart and bright cowgirl who not only talks with clients but also presents multimedia.

Multilingual, learning general purpose chatbot.

While currently in heavy beta and development, this technology demo shows some of “industry firsts”: The bot is multilingual, being able to converse in several languages in one box (try. “What languages do you speak?”). The bot is learning during the conversation. Try “Ich bin 39 jahre alt.” and then ... later ... “Wie alt bin ich?” This works also with other things - of course “My car is a VOLVO” ... “What is my car” etc. just try.

THe bot can handle procedural words. I-e- words that you will not find in any dictionary. Try e.g. “Wieviel ist siebzehn mal achtundzwanzig” (the numerals get parsed) or “Wat is negen plus negen”. The bot is a little bit self aware “How old are you”. and has rudimentary grasp of time. “What time is it/was it yesterday/will be tomorrow”

ameli.fr of Cnamts (Caisse Nationale d’assurance maladie) launched in 2002 to all insured employers and health professionals. With over 5.2 million hits per month, Ameli.fr is the 3rd largest public service site in France. Since 2007, more than four million policyholders created personal accounts on the site to manage their information.  With a wide range of content and applications, Ameli.fr users were having difficulty finding the right information for their specific needs. The telephone support channels were flooded with people asking for information that was already on the website. Ameli.fr implemented the VirtuOz virtual agent to provide better service and improve user navigation for policyholders.

Ewa is an assistant at Beyond.  Their DataCenter is the most advanced high-tech server room in Poland and one of the most rapidly developing server rooms in the country. Ewa has extensive knowledge about the company.  She gives basic information about Beyond, she knows a lot about work in Beyond and presents company’s offer. Ewa can even tell you how the fire system of the company works.  If you want to contact Beyond or you have specific issues Ewa opens a contact form for you or provides direct contact numbers.

Kon is hooked up to Twitter and randomly constructs lines. It will “watch” the conversations and Kon will then try to “learn” from them so that people can hold conversations with him.

The Joebot robot is a content-packed, walking, talking interactive buddy with a sense of humor and rhythm. Featuring voice command control, the Joebot robot is capable of responding to key phrases via sound sensors; he can also be controlled by his responsive hands or by the Robosapien™ robot’s remote controller.

The Joebot robot is not your average Joe – in fact, he can beatbox and dance – just tap out a beat and he will repeat it perfectly while grooving along. His movements are fast and fluid, and he is able to avoid obstacles via infrared sensors or detect if he falls over with tilt sensors. Various modes include Wandering, Patrol, Talk, Guard and Battle Modes. In Battle Mode, for example, he will wander freely while tracking and blasting objects with his hand LEDs; you can even challenge him to a “duel” using any TV (IR) remote controller.
