For the last 2 versions (6.5 and 6.5a), if I download the zip from SourceForge I end up with a file that I cannot open and Windows complains that it is corrupted, and I’ve tried several zip utilities.

I was wondering if any-one else has had a problem or whether it is just the company’s proxy servers that are messing things up.

I can download the zip file from Github just perfectly, and in the past I’ve been able to download from SourceForge.

interesting.  For 6.5 someone else reported corruption, so i reuploaded and it was fine. You’re telling me I need to reupload the zip again.

I’m not sure because I cannot be certain that it is not something in the proxy servers here.

I’ve just tried to download 6.5 again and that, for me, is still unopenable. It is also the same size as it was 2 weeks ago (yeah for keeping old downloads), but interestingly that size is 60Mb, compared to the 62 reported by SourceForge and the 88 from Github. And of course the MD5/SHA-1 hashes don’t match the expected.

The more I look at this then something must have happened at our end. The 6.4 instance that I downloaded 2 weeks or so ago is just fine, and the hashes check out perfectly. But if I re-download that 6.4 instance (which I presume hasn’t changed) then I cannot open it and the hashes are different and it is .5Mb smaller.

I was just curious to know if other people are having the same problem, or am I a special case.

Ive tested it, it’s working fine for me.

6.5 from SourceForge worked fine for me too
