Developing an Android based Virtual Companion using voice exchange

I am currently developing a project with the aim for providing a user with a virtual companion that will enable them to communication in a daily basis and continuously. To be implemented using Android phone.
I would like to ask how to design this kind of application and how to start with. I am planning to use Makehuman, Blender and php and mysql for coding and development.

I am looking forward for immediate response on this as soon as possible.

I do have a design what i am going to do is coding using Android SDK, how i am going to embed the AI inside the android code.
