During the pilot all pilot participants receive immediate updates of activity in the forum.

As you must have noticed yourself, this methode generates a lot of notifcations, in addition to the Robitron Mailing List emails you already receive. Your mailbox is flooding!

Starting tomorrow, we’ll send out our first Daily Digest and we’ll stop the immediate updates to prevent full mailboxes.

We’ll introduce ‘immediate’ notifications during the formal start of the Forum.

For those who already have been able to test the differences: i.e. posted to the forum and the mailing list, it would be nice to post your first thoughts on Robitron Forum notification.

We only have ‘immediate notifications’ for those who ask us explicitly and we’ll continue this practice for the time being. We have introduced daily, weekly and monthly digest after the forum and this seems to work quite smoothly
