Erwin is the CEO & founder of Chatbots.org.
He started as a marketing futurist, trend analyst and professional speaker after his book ‘Van Massamerk naar Mensmerk’, about the future of media, marketing & brands, was nominated for the Dutch Marketing Literature Awards in 2005.
One of his long-term predictions was the rise of chatbots: artificial characters representing brands, companies and governmental organizations. He founded Chatbots.org shortly afterwards the book publication anticipating the huge impact on marketing in the future.
The book predicted the developments between 2005 and 2015. Now, it appears that all his predictions have come true. As an immediately result, he helps corporations to predict the future themselves, anticipate this future and most importantly: letting go of the past. The latter appears to be far most difficult and that’s why he also coaches executives and facilitates workshops for management team to let go of the past.
Erwin has a background in artificial intelligence (Delft University of Technology, MSc. in Electrical Engineering, thesis on Artificial Neural Networks, 1993) and branding (Master of Brand Management, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands, 2005) with additional training in workshop facilitation and coaching.
