By day, I am a graduate student in condensed matter physics, by night, an NLP enthusiast. About three years ago I started a project designed to process natural language into a structured knowledge base. The project, which I’ve dubbed the “Artificial Learning by Erudition eXperiment” (ALEX for short) is written in python and takes advantage of the WordNet module in the NLTK package. Everything else I’m writing from scratch. I don’t have much spare time to devote to development, but ALEX is coming along in fits and starts. I’m looking forward to being a part of a community of fellow chatbot developers! |
