This dual expertise has allowed the realization of a 3D virtual signer. That character in computer graphics, able to speak on order in LSF, is based on two software components:
- A rendering engine, allowing the generation of animations that transcribe the richness and finesse of the LSF;
- A software system for the generation of a language of signs as fluid as possible, from an intuitive man-machine interface or from an existing speech synthesis module.

However she has an extensive knowledgebase and can hold a reaaonable conversation and can play some unique games such as Mastermind and Roulette which are not available anywhere else.

Main purpose is to answer questions about giving up smoking in general and about quit smoking aid, NicoBloc, in particular.

Nicki is based on an enhanced Alice/Pandorabot knowledgebase and so will engage in general chatter if asked off-subject questions.

She was originally set up around 2008 but not shown to the public and has recently been updated and brought out of retirement to engage with web visitors.

Laura a chatbot representing Tilde Innovation Lab

During conversations, Laura smiles, winks, and lights up with almost humanlike emotion.

Laura’s creators at Tilde Innovation Lab continue to work on improving her speech recognition capabilities and 3D features. Therefore we welcome any comments or suggestions on how we can enhance our latest creation!
