FriendBot is a Chatterbot-a piece of complex programming, deigned to try and falsify Artificial Intelligence. The Programming which FriendBot uses is called AIML, which is based on the foundations of ALICE (Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity). It can chat on AIM, ICM and online. FriendBot was first put online, in January 2007. Since then, FriendBot has become very popular. In the first 3 months of availability, FriendBot received over 40, 00 Messages, from friendly users in over 50 different countries, from over 60 different territories in 4 different languages.
